Girls' Generation proved that they are top SM Entertainment artist by gained top revenue of any other SM Town artist.
Recently, "Data Analysis, Retrieval and Transfer System" or DART an official of Korea's corporeate filling repository has revealed various sales figure of top 5 SM Entertainment artists. As the result, Girls' Generation was top gained revenue followed by Super Junior, TVXQ, SHINee and f(x).
Girls' Generation had been reported that until the 3rd quarter of 2011 has grand total revenue of $19.3 million USD. If the revenue included of 4th quarter sales of "The Boys" along with their Japanese promotions, the total revenue will exceed 100 million won or approximately $88.56 million USD.
Meanwhile at 3rd quarter of 2011, Super Junior earned $12.3 million USD, while TVXQ earned $10.4 million USD, SHINee with $5 million USD and f(x) with $3.3 million USD.
These calculation didn't including, Individual or solo activities (appearances and performances), special projects (ads), SM Town concerts and more. If the condition that mentioned included, the final revenue will be much more higher.
