FT. Island Succesfully Holds "20" Album Release Event in Japan


Kpop rock band, FT. Island continuing their Japanese campaign by releasing their second Japanese album, "20" as they successfully gathered 10,000 Japanese fans at the album release event.

Located at Tokyo (ZEPP) on 19th May and Osaka (Dojima River Forum) on 20th May, which brought total 10,000 Primadonnas (FT. Island fans) at the event. One by one Japanese fans gathered the showcase event, as the boys brought the crowd into scream as they said hello in Japanese, "Hello, everybody long time no see", and they begin to rock the stage with title track "Stay".

"Stay" itself is a romantic rock experience which penned by the member Choi Jonghoon while "Wanna Go" composed by Song Seung Hyun and Choi Min Hwan. The album has total five tracks including Japanese version from their Korean hit "Satisfaction".


At the live event, was hosted by Koumoto Junichi and the members had been asking by question as they questioned why they named the album "20", as Jaejin revealed, "Because our members had an average age of 20 years of age. I think this album was the expresses the type of music which our pursuing so far, that's why we named the album with it".

Lee Hongki added, "The album production was overlapped with our Korean promotions so we had a tight recording time, but we managed to keep every lyrics suitable because it's so important to deliver the proper emotion in each of the songs".

As they asked by the fans where they would like to visit in Japan for their vacation, Jonghoon remarked, "I'm a fan of reptiles, so I'd like to visit the zoo or aquarium". While Hongki and Minhwan chose the hot springs at Sapporo, Seunghun the Fuji-Q highland and Jaejin chose simply to drive in the country side.

The members also treated the fans with their personal gifts like, T-Shirts, Jeans, Drum Sticks, Hats and Sunglasses. 


Meanwhile, FT. Island will kick off their "Summer 2012 Japanese tour - Run! Run! Run!" in 4 cities (Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya and Fukui) on June 24.
