Hallyu drew many fans across the globe, by feeding the fans with passionate artists, songs, culture and fashion, it become part of lifestyle most people on earth.
The question is, who was the most faithful and loyal hallyu fans on the world?, as the answer came out when the fans participating one of the best "fans wannabe hallyu Idols", The IAM UCC Project. The project that started on 14th December 2011 and ending on 12th January 2012, drew concern of the hallyu fans around the world.
As the result, nearly over 2000 videos was uploaded by participants from 15 countries around the globe. The most parcipants came from North America (USA and Canada) and Indonesia,with percentages of 13.6% and 10.1% each. Unfortunately, as an origin of hallyu, South Korea only represents 2.2% from the total, somehow it proved that hallyu wasn't only belong to Korean but also to the world.
Even the UCC Project only allow the video from SM Entertainment artists, like Girls' Generation, Super Junior, TVXQ or BoA, but they most likely hallyu representative whom sold albums and gain fans more than any Kpop labels. Hence, hallyu fans from America and Indonesia can proudly declare themselves as the most faithful hallyu fans in the world.
Meanwhile, the UCC Project result announced since 30th January to 8th February to choose the top 10 videos. Finally the top 10 videos will be included in the movie (I AM).
