Girls' Generation Finally Made it at MAMA 2011

Relieve, Emotional and Shocking felt as one, yes Girls' Generation first achievement awarded at Mnet Asian Music Award (MAMA) 2011. Just imagined, after four years only nominated and not getting any of it, finally their broke down the award curse by achieving two MAMA awards at once.

As we know since MAMA music award first held in 2007, Girls Generation always nominated for some category starting from Best New Female Group, Best Female Group and most precious award Best Artist of the Year. After nominated as Best Female Group and Best Artist of the Year fifth times consecutively, eventually their got it both in fifth MAMA 2011.

Girls' Generation has total 5 categories nominated in MAMA 2011: Best Artist of the Year, Best Female Group, Best Female Group Dance Performance, Best Song of the Year and Best Album of the Year.

The acceptance award speech, showed that all the member so exciting and emotional, among them Taeyeon was the worst one. Taeyeon herself was nominated for Best Original Soundtrack (OST) for Kdrama "Athena Goddess of War" I Love You (사랑해요), but lose by Baek Ji Young in the end. At the speech Taeyeon can believe it happen to them, and thankful for all SONE (Girls' Generation Fans) for all their support and make her group successful until now.
