Swizz Beatz Likes to Have 2NE1 Collaboration with Rihanna

While the Kpop artists like Girls' Generation and Wonder Girls have already visited US for their debut earlier this year, an American Hip Hop producer, Swizz Beatz visited Korea to talk about the possibility collaboration between US artists like Rihanna and Kpop artists like 2NE1.

Swizz Beatz visited Korea on 20th February to hold a press conference which discuss the development impact of Kpop on global music industry. The press conference took place at Imperial Palace Hotel in Seoul, where he spoke his ideas about Kpop artists collaboration with US artists.

In front many reporters he revealed, "Kpop is just like people expression. The world seeking for something new and Kpop now is the world new trend. And so I wanna take part of this trend by making Korean music renown worldwide."

Swizz continue, "As I travel around the world, I learn many various sound of each country. Although I'm a hip-hop producer but I like other musical genres as well. For Korean artists, I think KARA, Big Bang, 2NE1, and BoA (among other musicians) have many strengths. K-pop is a great opportunity, and the future is bright.“

When reporters asked him about the potential music market for Kpop in America, Swizz revealed, "Although American pop music can easily received by Korean, but Kpop may be unfamiliar to American people. However, the world's hearts is open to different kind of music. Kpop anyway, has great potential, and I think if 2NE1 could collaboration with US pop stars like Rihanna, that would bring great effect for Kpop."

Swizz Beatz known for his successful collaboration with world-class artists like, Jay Z, Rihanna, Madonna, Lady Gaga, Kanye West and many more. He visited Korea not only to talk about Kpop but also some business deals with Korea's Omen Media which he currently has a new project on his way.
