Kara proved that they are once again the most popular Kpop girl group in Japan, as they sold Japanese singles with more than one million copies.
Kara's 6th Japanese singles, "Speed Up/Girls Power" which releases back on 21st March, has recorded 155,177 in sell, leaving Kara's total sell for all they Japanese singles including all six singles reached 1,000,999 million copies. This record achieved by Kara since they debuted in Japan for 1 year and 11 months.
Kara now stands beside other Kpop artists like, BoA and TVXQ who sold their singles more than one million copies. To be more astonishingly, Kara did that with only short time with less singles if we compared from their two predecessor artists. BoA sold one million copies within her 10 singles and 2 years since debut, while TVXQ reached one million copies for 24 singles, within their 3 years debut in Japan.
Meanwhile, Girls' Generation trailing behind Kara with 569,896 copies within their 4th singles as July 2nd, and approximately will also prominently to sold more than one million copies in upcoming months.
In related news, Kara recently has already successfully held a Japanese concert within six cities which drew more than 150,000 spectators. The girls are currently preparing for the domestic comeback.
