The 26th Golden Disk Awards ended with massive success by Korea's most popular male Group, Super Junior as well as rock based band group CNBLUE.
The boys of Super Junior took four trophies at 26th Golden Disk Awards in first day of the show (11th January 2012) at Physical album category for First Prize (Disk Daesang), Best Album Awards, Popularity Award and MSN Japan Award.
The successful story can't be separated from their "Mr. Simple" album sell around 2011, with approximately more than 343,348 physical copies of album sold (based on Gaon Chart on 1st to 7th January 2012). While their "Mr. Simple Repackaged" album sold more than 129,894 copies.
In the other hand, Korea's hot rock-pop band group CNBLUE, also received four trophies at 26th Golden Disk Awards. The boys won first trophy at day one in Physical Album Awards for Best Album Awards alongside with f(x), Infinite, MBLAQ, Jay Park, Kara, B2ST and Super Junior.
While in day two which honors the digital album categories, CNBLUE won three trophies for Best Album Awards alongside with 4Minute, Miss A, G.NA, K.Will, Sistar, Secret and Girls' Generation, Best Asian Award, and ViVi Dream Award.
