After successful with funky and funny hits "Roly Poly", the girls back in 2012 bringing their latest funky style on "Lovey Dovey" in this "Funky Town" mini album. This was the second mini album released by T-ara in merely three month since the last mini album "Black Eyes" released in November 2011. This 5th mini album was scheduled to release on 11th January 2012.
The "Funky Town" consist of 8 tracks (a little much for mini album) including, the ballad hit duet with their label mate, Davichi "We Were In Love" and the ballad version of "Cry Cry". The main single "Lovey Dovey" came out with original and remix versions.
