The First Gaon Chart Kpop Awards 2011

The first ever "Gaon Chart Kpop Awards" finally successfully held on 22nd February at the Blue Square Hall, Seoul. Hosted with Girls' Generation's Taeyeon and composer Joo Young Hoon, the MCs brought the cheers and laugh as they announced the winners of first ever Gaon Chart Kpop Awards.

With the achievement that night, Gaon has put off its existence to summon equivalency over Oricon in Japan and Billboard in US as a leading Korean music chart. The awards show, became history when a new era of music awards to honors not only musicians but also its affiliates, Producers, Composers, Choreographers and many more.

Girls' Generation who not present on this award show due to members individual activities, as always has dominated the awards for Best Album Awards and Oricon Special Award, while A Pink, Huh Gak, Kim Bo Kyung and B1A4 chosen as the Best New Comers Awards.
