Lee Seung Gi Will be Serve as Torchbearer for 2012 London Olympics

Korea's golden boy Lee Seung Gi has been appointed to serve as torchbearer for upcoming Olympic games in London UK.

The news of this honor duty was revealed on March 14th by Lee Seung Gi's agency Hook Entertainment which stated, "Lee Seung Gi was appointed as torchbearer for the London Olympics which held on July. The specific details about this issue have yet to be revealed".

One of the reason why Lee Seung Gi chosen as torchbearer was the London Olympics sponsorship which taken officially by "Samsung". As one of the main sponsors, Samsung Electronics has the right to recommend a number of torchbearers, therefore, they chose Lee Seung Gi as endorser for Samsung's kimchi refrigerator line.

As for the torchbearer duty, Lee Seung Gi scheduled to heading London after he completed his MBC's new drama "King 2 Hearts", and his Japanese solo debut concert in June.

There been reported that "The Moon Embraces the Sun" actress Han Ga In was also set to be one of the torchbearers, but this has yet to be confirmed. A Samsung marketing representative said, "The news regarding Han Ga In was nothing to be decided yet".
