MBC "Music and Lyrics" provided the new couples which replaced the time slot of "We Got Married" which currently permanently cancelled due to labor strike.
On 14th April, the first episode of "Music and Lyrics" did not impress the viewers by having low viewer ratings, 3.3%. MBC has been criticized for eliminated the previous show, cause the fact that viewership between the first episode of Music and Lyrics was quite different gap from We Got Married re-run episodes that broadcast in previous weeks.
Other program who received better viewer ratings on the same time slot was SBS' "Star Junior Show" which scored 10.1%, while KBS' Invincible Youth got 4% viewer ratings.
"Music and Lyrics" currently paired up two couples who consisted male singer and female actress, singer Jay park has been paired with actress Lee Si Young, while John Park coupled up with Pak Jin Hee.
