YG Entertainment's boy group Big Bang once again proved that they are MTV's favorite Asian artist, as they recently won for "Best Fan" category on "2012 MTV Italy TRL Awards".
On 5th May, located in Florence, Italy 2012 MTV Italy TRL Awards was held, as the local artists announced Big Bang as the winner of "Best Fan" category.
At the category, Big Bang triumphed over world top artists like, Avril Lavigne, Alessandra Amoroso, Emma and British boy group, One Direction. "Best Fan" category was derived from the fans online votes, proven Big Bang has some enormous fans in Italy as well.
Upon hearing the good news, on 6th May Big Bang's agency YG Entertainment remarked, "We are so happy and honored for winning on 'MTV Italy TRL Awards'. We would like to thank you for our fans all over the world who shown their endless support".
The MTV Italy TRL Awards established since 2006 to honor the local artists and world artists as well. Its also a significant awards, which became standards for European music awards.
Ahead from this awards, Big Bang had already received an achievement on "2011 MTV Europe Awards" as they became the first Asian artists who won for "Best Worlwide Act" category.
In related news, Big Bang will kicks off they "2012 Alive World Tour" in Japan on 17th May, as for some cities like, Saitama, Fukuoka, Nagoya, Yokohama and Osaka, which expected to drew total 150,000 fans who watch their performance.
