After School leader Park Kahi (31) has been revealed to "graduate" from the group to pursue her solo career. On June 5th, Pledis Entertainment as After School's agency released statement regarding Kahi's future in the group, which the agency said that Kahi has already determined to withdraw from After School.
Kahi who debuted with After School in 2009, has been receiving love calls from entertainment industries, thanks to her massive acting in popular KBS2 TV drama, "Dream High 2", and still remain the most prominent member in After School.
If her plans had to be true, Kahi will scheduled to performs her remaining stage with After School on June 17th, in Tokyo as their perform an encore concert, and wrap-up the promotional activities in Japan, which will be end in September. After that, Kahi will be preparing herself as an official solo artist.
Regarding to her final stage as After School's member, Kahi plans to performing a special solo stage during the encore concert to thanks the fans.
Upon faced her decision, Kahi stated, "To all the members who had cried, laugh and suffered with me since the debut and my loyal fans who had given their love for me, I thank you all so much".
In related news, After School will scheduled to release new mini album on June 21st, which they introduced the new member, Ga Eun, as its will also her debut with After School.
